The Director of Institutional Sales and Relations oversees a B2B (business-to-business) program that maximizes ONS's institutional market growth. Develops strategic relationships and leads sales and service of ONS products with oncology practices, cancer centers, hospital systems, pharmaceutical companies, payers, independent infusion centers, pharmacies, schools of nursing, and other markets.
This is a full-time REMOTE (work-from-home) position. Occasional travel to the ONSE Headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA throughout the year will be required.

Pay Range:
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) uses a market-based approach to pay. Pay rates are established considering the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified periodically based on market analysis.
Anticipated Pay Range: $137,163 to $171,454 annually

Responsibilities
Strategic
- Provides market feedback from prospects and customers to be used for product development Monitors competitor activities
- Generates ideas for using customer use cases to be used for marketing
- Develops, and implements sales strategies for ONS products and services to the B2B market, including opportunities to collaborate on potential grant funding and donations
- Manages staff creation and delivery of sales presentations that introduce ONS's products, capabilities, and value proposition
- Collaborates with the Corporate Relations department on customer engagement from the sales process to creating loyal, returning customers
- Manages revenue across pipeline and forecast of revenue for team
- Establishes customer service standard that maintains a positive relationship with customers
- Gathers and processes business intelligence to augment current and new products based on customer needs in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Pursues new business opportunities in key institutions and maintains relationships with existing customers
- Responsible for implementation, delivery, and service of products
- Delivery of and implementation of products to the client(s)
Leadership: Director
- Monitors annual budgets and corresponding business cases to ensure utilization meets strategic, operational, and budgetary goals
- Remains current with industry standards
- Directs strategic service delivery for areas of responsibility in support of organizational priorities
- Leads change by communicating goals clearly, influencing and motivating others, and developing relationships with key stakeholders
- Coaches leaders and professional team members for career growth and development
- Engage direct leadership team to leverage talent, communicate mission, vision, and values, and achieve buy-in
- Directs and participates in leadership team development, performance management, and engagement
- Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of the B2B market, how to establish & maintain relationships with them
- Strong knowledge of healthcare trends
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong written skills including proposals, letters, executive summaries, and RFPs
- Strong oral presentation skills tailored to executives, VIPs, and boards of directors
- Strong ability to respond to inquiries from a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to evaluate proposals and assess customer needs
Education and Experience
- Master's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field of study
- 6-10 years of related sales experience
- 5 years of managerial experience leading and growing teams, B2B strategy, sales and service
- Direct or indirect oncology and/or nursing experience and/or Sales experience with hospitals is highly preferred.
