The Siemens R&D LV team is looking for a Project Manager to join our team. As a PM, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects, from project initiation through final closeout. You will work in a matrix style organization requiring excellent coordination skills.
Headquartered in Wendell, NC, the EA R&D team executes diverse projects for low- and medium-voltage power distribution equipment. The PM role comes with ample opportunities for growth, reflective of Siemens mission to empower people with a growth mindset. As a development team, we drive innovation for the company.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our R&D team. This position is based in Wendell, NC.
Role Description:
- Drawing up the project planning (structuring, development specification, estimation of expenditure, deadlines)
- Defining the project organization, agreeing on tasks and responsibilities within the project team
- Technical and commercial project controlling (dates, costs, technical and economic objectives)
- Preparing and conducting phase decision meetings
- Conducting hazard analyses e.g. FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
- Risk management and change management
- Deviation management (handling project problems, escalation)
- Complying with legal regulations and evidence of conformity (environmental protection, product safety and liability) and relevant standards
- Synchronizing on the manufacturing and logistics concept with the heads of the relevant departments
- Clarifying the details of procurement (specifications, selecting suppliers, terms of business) in collaboration with the purchasing department
- Quality assurance of the project (milestone reviews, design reviews, release of documents).
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in an engineering field
- 3+ years of experience in the power distribution industry managing low or medium voltage portfolios.
- 1+ year of working with multi-disciplinary teams, including program management, services, engineering, operations, and logistics
- Commitment to develop, drive, and manage projects in a highly competitive market.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management related work experience in Power distribution industry
- Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL and NEMA standards for power distribution equipment. In specific for Low Voltage Motor Control Centers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present progress, status and issues to internal and external customers.
- Experience in identifying and implementing cost savings measures within project
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office and specifically Microsoft Project

- The pay range for this position is <$100,100 - $135,100>. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
