Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a point of contact for client HR support, including strategy, benefits, processes/documentation, compliance, and employee management.
  • Communicate with client leadership to align HR services with their strategic initiatives in the following categories:
    • General HR support: Translate issues into real-world solutions
    • HR process assessment: Identify risks, and recommend improvements
    • HR compliance management systems: Review, recommend, and implement HRIS technology
    • Handbook development and training: Develop personnel policies and provide training and implementation
    • Benefits: Analyze and recommend benefits plans, support enrollment, and offer ongoing benefits education
    • Affordable Care Act: Compliance, planning, process management, and reporting support
    • Performance management: Develop and implement to drive organizational success
    • Leadership training and development: Deliver customized training programs on a variety of topics
  • Participate in developing internal department goals and systems for the HR advisory team.
  • Assist with new staff and client training on HR services and compliance, including work review and feedback.
  • Act as a resource for HRIS technology processes and best practices.
  • Stay informed on employment law and HR trends.
  • Assist with HR service proposal preparation, including pricing and scope of engagements

Ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related major and/or related work experience accounting, finance, or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources roles
  • Experience handling sensitive, confidential information
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to relay complex technical information in simple terms
  • Strong critical thinking with the ability to proactively provide solutions to clients with the realization there are multiple ways to solve the same problem
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS, payroll and database software
  • Attention to detail, exceptional organization and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:
At Abdo, we are committed to providing fair, transparent, and competitive compensation that reflects the unique skills and experiences of each candidate. The estimated base pay range for this role is $72,000 - $97,000. Offers are typically made below the maximum to allow room for future compensation increases in the role. The compensation offer will be based on factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications, skills, and business needs.

All employees have the opportunity to earn discretionary bonuses based on demonstration of extraordinary performance, special projects or significant importance, or other major accomplishments.
