Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to be part of a new team responsible for the Account Management Systems modernization initiative. Activities will include design and architecture, development, test automation, devops practices among others. You will be part of the team responsible for providing the highest quality systems to enable our advisor and their clients to communicate and share information among others. The role will require flexible thinking as the team works to integrate existing business and technology concepts with evolutionary design to deliver a practical and flexible platform. We work in an agile environment to help us manage and organize our work.

Responsibilities:

*Position is hybrid out of our Fort Mill or New York office
  • System design using Domain Driven Design techniques.
  • Performs peer-peer code reviews and team code reviews and give demos on latest technologies.
  • Develop and maintain software products used by Advisors and Investors.
  • Test automation at multiple levels including unit, functional, integration and end-to-end.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product support.
  • Work with team members, product owners to translate business problem statements into technical solutions, then help to plan Sprints that deliver quality demonstrations.
  • Support an Agile Product Development team to deliver high quality technology solutions built with cloud database technologies and modern methods.
  • Collaborate with other Development teams, Enterprise Architecture and Support teams to design, develop, test and maintain the various platforms and their integration with other systems.
  • Collaborate with business partners, Architects, Quality Assurance, Release Management, and the Change Control board to plan, design, develop and implement solutions based on business requirements.
  • Analysis, Design and Development of the project by following SAFE and Agile Methodology including daily scrum, sprint meetings and PI planning.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in designing and building Restful APIs and Services in C# .NET
  • 2+ years' experience with Domain Driven Design concepts and principles
  • 2+ years of experience with Event Sourcing Architecture and CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation)
  • 2+ years' experience with Kafka and Redis technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with "Postgres/SQL Server"


Core Competencies:
  • 2+ years of working with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 2+ years of software development experience with AWS platform.
  • Experience integrating with REST and/or other services.
  • Experience with Test Automation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • DevOps automation skills including scripting and GitHub Actions.


Preferences:
  • AWS Certification for Developer and Solution Architect Associate.
  • Experience with Github, or other version control tools. Experienced in the Continuous Integration techniques using GitHub Actions.
  • Experienced in NoSQL and Key Value databases like DynamoDB and Redis.

Pay Range:
$106,125-$176,875/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
