- Adapt and deploy F&B marketing and innovation initiatives at assigned accounts in the NA market.
- Develop a high level of familiarity with the assigned customers their brand positioning(s) & strategy in addition to their products and claims to successfully integrate products to customers' portfolios.
- Generate, communicate, implement and drive a comprehensive customer plan (incl. vision, strategy, long term sales goals, profitability improvement, strategic innovation initiatives, etc.)
- Develop and nurture effective and productive Customer Relationships to deliver mutual success through partnership
- Expand, lead and nurture highly effective and impactful cross functional team dynamic to deliver best in class product and service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure high level of service to customers, address any concerns promptly, and build deeper consumer intelligence base.
- Anticipate customer needs and establish a solid proactive program to generate new business opportunities and pipeline
- Coordinate and communicate (as appropriate) all account knowledge, insights, and strategy with other sales functions, marketing, and executive management
- Coordinate technical service or after sales service activities towards the account
- Monitor the complaint process and ensure an appropriate complaint settlement with the account within the agreed timeline
- Deliver commercial presentations aiming to improve customer knowledge of products as well as to further develop branding.
- Lead contract negotiations with the respective account(s) and ensure the conclusion of sales contracts
- Coordinate technical service or after sales service activities towards the account
- Monitor the account's payment behavior and act to ensure payment within the agreed payment terms.
- Complies with all job-related safety, security and other training requirements.
- Ensure that SHE regulations are in place and followed upon by making SHE a regular subject of discussion in team meetings and holding employees accountable for their SHE behavior/attitude.
- Report any SHE and Security incidents (including observed risks) to management
- Ensure that Security regulations and facilities are in place and followed upon and correctly used by monitoring this and making a Security a regular subject of discussion in team meetings and holding employees accountable for their Security behavior/attitude.
- Show behavior in line with the SHE and Security risks and agreed controls, including being compliant to Biomedical requirements, rules and procedures.

Qualifications :
- Undergrad required in Marketing Sales or food science
- Master Degree preferred
- Knowledge of and experience in science-based ingredient sales.
- In depth knowledge of customers, products and/or applications.
- Knowledge of and experience in other relevant disciplines
- Balance of commercial and technical know-how, skills and experience.
- Managerial and social knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressively increasing responsibilities in B2B sales, ideally within the F&B industry.
- Experience in development and implementation of successful regional account plans, leading to demonstrated customer growth.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, including regulatory, science, technical, legal and market research in a very collaborative environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly (US, Canada), up to 50%. Occasional international (Switzerland) travel may be required.
- Experience in the Beverage B2B industry.
