SCOPE OF POSITION: This role will involve traveling to various community locations to provide high-quality, accessible healthcare services, including screenings for common cancers such as breast, cervical, colorectal, prostate and skin cancer. The NP will play a key role in promoting early detection and prevention through patient education, risk assessments, and the administration of appropriate screening tests.

The NP will play a key role in promoting early detection and prevention through patient education, risk assessments, and the administration of appropriate screening tests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Conduct Cancer Screenings
- Patient Education and Counseling
- Documentation and Reporting
- Collaboration and Teamwork
- May perform other duties that include other service areas as directed by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a focus on Family Medicine, Adult-Geriatric, or other relevant specialties.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably with experience in oncology, preventive care, or mobile healthcare settings.
- Current, active RN and NP licenses in the state of Louisiana and Mississippi
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
