Position Overview: The Englewood Public School District is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Interim Business Administrator/Board Secretary to join our administrative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with more than 10 years of successful experience leading a school business office in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge in accounting, purchase orders, and grants, as well as strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.
The Interim Business Administrator/Board Secretary will play an essential role in the district's financial management, including overseeing an $88 million budget. As part of the Superintendent's Cabinet, this individual will work closely with senior leadership, the Board of Education, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient operations of the district's business functions.

- Provide financial guidance and support to the Superintendent and Board of Education.

- Collaborate with school leadership and district departments to facilitate smooth operations and efficient budgeting processes.
- Advise on matters related to accounting, finance, and business office operations.
- Maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity in financial matters.
Qualifications:
- Retiree with more than 10 years of experience leading a school business office in New Jersey.
- Strong knowledge of school accounting systems, purchase orders, and grant management.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, including the Superintendent's Cabinet and Board of Education.
- A deep understanding of New Jersey school finance, regulations, and policies.
- Proven track record of successful financial management in a public school setting.
