What you will do:
  • Ensure management of day-to-day plant activities utilizing tesa KPIs including but not limited to quality control, shipping, receiving, production, and inventory
  • Lead 2 direct reports and 47+ indirect reports to success
  • Manage budgets totaling over $35 million annually, including fixed, material, and capital expenditures
  • Lead workforce organization and development, aligning staff with corporate standards to achieve company objectives
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, employee relations, and strategic planning to enhance productivity and meet technological requirement
  • Guarantee compliance with tesa policies and procedures for risk mitigation, including but not limited to all legal, plant and company rules with special emphasis on production, safety, quality, and environmental rules, reporting nonconforming situations with recommended or executed corrective action
  • Establish proper staffing, thorough training, motivation, and direction according to corporate standards, policies, and principles
  • Addresses escalated customer questions and concerns
  • Maintain continuous contact with the marketing and sales organization to ensure that market needs can be met
  • Carrie out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Interview, hire, and train new employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues
  • Performs other related duties as required

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Six (6) to eight (8) years of experience in operations management in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Demonstrated ability to work in global, compliant corporate environment
  • Strong skill set in areas of time management, self-organizational and project management
  • Proficient in MS Office application such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Proficient in use of ERP/MRP systems, SAP preferred
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally
  • ISO/TS 16949 knowledge preferred
  • Experience in 5S methodology and 6-sigma methodology preferred
