We are looking for a Sr .NET Engineer to help us build smart, compelling and intuitive client-side applications for our products. As a Sr .NET Engineer in an early-stage and high-growth company, you will have a large impact on both technical implementation and help steer our technology roadmap. This is an exciting role for an engineer to come in and develop the major client-side features in a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment. What You'll Own:
- Deliver scalable, reliable solutions to complex business problems
- Own applications that are critical to the success of our customers and our business
- Collaborate with engineering, product and design teams to design solutions to customer problems
- Hands-on contributor, blending strategic oversight with direct involvement in project execution
- Influence the engineering culture in an early-stage company by promoting innovation and high standards in technical execution
- Champion the creation and maintenance of comprehensive suites of unit, functional, and acceptance tests to ensure software quality
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and optimize support strategies for production applications
Who You Are:
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft .NET technology stack (C# / .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Web APIs)
- Experience with database design and management for PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL, AWS/cloud infrastructure services and automation
- Experience with REST architectural patterns and experience in building RESTful services.
- HTML5 and JavaScript; experience such front-end frameworks as React and NEXT.js
- Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, profiling, Visual Studio, JIRA, and othertools that are typically used by developers on Microsoft technology stack
- You will work closely with product, design and the rest of the engineering team to develop and deliver scalable, secure, rock-solid, production ready features. You will be expected to iterate rapidly while delivering high-quality outcomes
- Demonstrated leadership in adopting agile methodologies, with a commitment to frequent and confident code deployment
- Expertise in deconstructing complex problems into manageable, incremental solutions, with a track record of strategic problem-solving
- A collaborative spirit, thriving in environments where mutual growth and support are prioritized among team members
- In-depth understanding of the unique challenges faced by early-stage companies, particularly in balancing immediate needs with long-term strategic goals
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong appreciation for the importance of effective documentation in driving project clarity and success
- B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or a related technical field
