Position Summary:
Brenau University is searching for a dynamic, motivated and hands-on leader to fill the role of Director of Specialized Graduate programs. This individual will play a crucial role in the growth and expansion of our groundbreaking Executive MBA for Women program. The Executive MBA for Women is focused on addressing the gender gap in executive leadership by providing an Executive MBA program that encourages female leadership development and enhances career opportunities through personalized instruction and professional coaching. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the EMBA-W program, including strategic planning, program coordination, and ensuring student and stakeholder satisfaction. The Director will collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and industry professionals to ensure the program's success. Additionally, this role will provide advisement and scheduling assistance for the Accelerated-MBA program. This program allows undergraduate students to complete an undergraduate degree and MBA in five years.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related area; eight years of progressively more responsible management experience; and demonstrated leadership, human relations and effective communications skills required.
Successful candidates will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, work well under pressure, consistently meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects while remaining flexible and positive. This will require exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Further, successful candidates will effectively communicate with all levels of management and fellow employees and be able to manage multiple employer relationships.

Responsibilities:
Serve as a visible leader for the Specialized Graduate programs, both internally and externally, and act as an advocate for the programs in the local and national community by engaging with companies, partners, and students. Develop and implement strategic plans for the EMBA-W program, aligning with the institution's overall goals and objectives. This includes growing the number of EMBA-W students, while driving program rankings and increasing student satisfaction. Produce and maintain a business plan in support of the EMBA-W strategy. Provide oversight of scheduling for students pursuing the five-year accelerated MBA program. Serve as a key member of the leadership team for the Dean of the Brenau University College of Business and Communication ("CBC"). Collaborates with leadership team members to design policy and generate practices that enhance the quality of the student experience and align with school priorities and strategy. Directs the day-to- day logistical operations of the EMBA-W. This includes overall program management. Support, assist, and implement on-campus and off-campus EMBA-W events including, but not limited to, U.S. and international executive student residencies, student orientation and graduation Collaborate with the Vice President for Marketing & Enrollment Management and Dean of the CBC on the vision and execution of all recruitment and admission activities specific to the EMBA-W. Including oversight of the admissions process, application review, interviews and admissions decisions. May travel to recruiting events and expos to recruit and represent the EMBA-W. Collaborate with faculty to ensure the EMBA-W program's curriculum remains up-to-date and relevant to the needs of executive-level professionals. Provide guidance and support to students throughout their programs, including academic advising and career counseling. Foster relationships with industry professionals and organizations to enhance networking, implement program improvements, and promote the reputations of the programs Monitor program performance of the EMBA-W and recommend improvements based on student feedback and industry trends. Plan, manage and monitor program budget and resources, for the EMBA-W ensuring efficient use of funds and adherence to financial guidelines. Prepare annual financial and program reports to external parties with interests in the program. May assist with fundraising for the EMBA-W program. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in executive education to ensure the EMBA-W program remains competitive and innovative. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to promote the EMBA-W and accelerated MBA program.

Sedentary work. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must have the ability to travel short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials. Exerting up to 15 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
