Psychologist 3 $44.79hr. - $65.10hr.
This position also receives Longevity Pay and Premium Pay
This position may be filled by Detail, Probation, Promotion, Demotion, or Lateral Transfer. Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.
THIS JOB IS IN A CAREER PROGRESSION GROUP AND MAY BE FILLED AT A HIGHER LEVEL.
As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a Psychologist 2 or 3 depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant. The maximum salary for the Psychologist 3 is $135,408.00. Supervision may be exercised over unlicensed Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellows, Associates, Assistants, Interns and Externs, paraprofessional, semiprofessional, and/or clerical staff. This level does not supervise Licensed Psychologists.

Incumbents are responsible for carrying out these professional duties in accordance with generally accepted psychological theories, methods, techniques and practices. They are professionally responsible for the application of said standards and for the accuracy and reliability of the data obtained and basic recommendations made.
Performs psychological diagnoses and treatment; participates, as a member of a patient treatment unit, in staff discussions on patient diagnoses, treatment, and progress.
Administers or reviews results of the full range of diagnostic tests for psychological assessment, interprets results, and prepares psychological evaluations.
Designs and implements programs involving the application of behavior modification principles and techniques.
Consults with related professionals on topics or techniques within areas of specialization.
Conducts organizationally approved research projects of limited scope.
