Compensation: $135,000 to $185,000 depending on your skills and years of experience

What You'll Do:

  • Provide high-level technical leadership - Offer expert guidance on large-scale projects, ensuring top-tier execution and quality control.
  • Drive project excellence - Serve as a Project Lead when necessary, ensuring complex and high-impact projects meet and exceed expectations.
  • Shape the future of engineering - Develop and deliver training programs to elevate the technical capabilities of the engineering team.
  • Ensure quality and compliance - Establish and maintain a robust QA/QC program, setting the bar for technical excellence.
  • Influence industry advancements - Represent the company at industry conferences, contribute to regulatory bodies like IEEE and PSRC, and publish thought leadership articles.
  • Strategic business impact - Work with leadership to capitalize on market opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Lead by example - Foster a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing to strengthen team performance.
  • Communicate effectively - Engage with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
  • Support client engagement - Occasionally travel to meet with clients, ensuring strong relationships and project success.


What You Bring:

  • Deep industry expertise - Comprehensive knowledge of utility systems, regulatory requirements, risk management, and compliance.
  • Technical proficiency - Familiarity with CAD, industry-standard software models, and proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and word-processing applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills - Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic problem-solving - Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, interpret, and apply regulatory standards.
  • Organizational excellence - Ability to manage multiple priorities, adhere to deadlines, and support a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • 15+ years of directly related engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proven success in executing major projects and driving technical innovation.
