This individual is responsible for the leadership and management of the Human Resources Department. Position summary:

The Human Resources (HR) Director is responsible for shaping a positive, uplifting, and affirming culture; overseeing an aligned performance evaluation process, system and talent processes to ensure Branches can attract, retain and develop the right fit talent. Responsible of quarterly and monthly HR dashboard in evaluating the effectiveness of HR practices and guiding continuous improvement efforts that enhance employee engagement, retention, and growth.

Requirements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Culture & People
Shapes a healthy, safe, positive and uplifting culture that promotes employee retention and engagement.
Oversees and manages an aligned talent processes including the performance reviews, goal setting, talent and workforce planning that drive high performance and enables actionable feedback for growth.
Manages the process and provides the tools for professional development for both employees, leaders and people Directors.
Facilitates stay and exit interviews and employee engagement surveys. Creates and manages the process for feedback loop by regularly measuring and monitoring the progress to increase engagement of employees and continuous improvement within the organization.
Acts as coach, guide and strategic advisor to leadership team and all people managers. Provides guidance on motivating, coaching, and developing direct and indirect reports.
Provides counsel and assists employees and people Directors in resolving conflicts and complex Human Resources problems.
Facilitates training and ongoing professional development.
Works with leadership to implement and manage talent development and talent management processes.
Co-plans and co-leads all-staff meetings.

Recruitment & Hiring
Manages the workforce planning for the organization to create positions and to attract the right talent.
Manages employment documentation, background check process, maintain job descriptions & file administration.
Sources talent and manages recruitment process in collaboration with Hiring Directors.
Facilitates the hiring and onboarding process in collaboration with Directors.

Systems & Data Management
Manages HR systems and databases.
Analyzes trends and metrics to develop HR solutions.
Provides timely reports and decision support to leadership with HR quarterly and monthly dashboards and communications.

Administrative Compliance
Maintains and represents all HR standards, policies, and procedures for the organization.
Monitors HR procedures across the organization and ensures administrative and legal compliance.
Implements effective HR policies to ensure all practices are compliant with labor/employment regulations.
Maintains job descriptions and personnel files.
Manages employee documentation and follows industry trends to ensure the organization is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Educates employees on organizational policies and HR systems. Keeps employee handbook and HR playbook current.

Payroll & Benefits Administration
Provides support in payroll review and processing.
Plans, directs and supervises activities in the administration and maintenance of employee benefits.
Facilitates open enrollment for group health benefits.
Partners with the Finance department to audit benefits invoices for accuracy of charges and credits.
Serves as point of contact to assist with resolution of any issues.

Team & People Management:
Lead and mentor direct report(s) fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Provide ongoing professional development and training opportunities for staff.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications (Required)
Minimum Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
7+ years of HR experience.
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Desired Qualifications (Plus)
Master's degree in human resources or related field.
Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Proficiency in spoken Spanish and/or Haitian Creole.
Experience in non-profit sector.

WORKING CONDITIONS OR EXPECTATIONS

Most of the work is performed in regular office conditions with some flexibility for remote or hybrid work. Travel to other Branches sites or meetings is required. Additionally, frequent evening and weekend work is necessary. Reliable transportation is required to fulfill normal duties. Located in Miami Dade County.

Salary Description

$80,000 to $90,000
