Additionally, you'll strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring their success through strategic account plans that align with their business priorities. Your efforts will center on new logo acquisition, value creation, and sustainable revenue growth for Portfolio+.

What you'll do

Strategic Leadership
  • Define and execute the overarching sales strategy, methodology, and closure plans while aligning to business objectives.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve annual revenue and bookings targets, ensuring growth and customer expansion.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish competitive pricing models that maximize revenue and market competitiveness.

Sales Operations
  • Manage and grow the sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities to meet future revenue goals.
  • Track and forecast sales performance, providing regular updates and actionable insights to management.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and, where applicable, lead direct negotiations with clients.
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans, ensuring individual sales targets are met alongside team goals.
  • Drive both team-wide and individual efforts to close deals, expand customer relationships, and achieve overall revenue objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the HubSpot CRM to ensure accurate tracking of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management, optimizing the platform for efficient team collaboration and data-driven decision-making.

Customer Success & Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with customers to foster trust, retention, and long-term value creation.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, including engagement strategies, communication plans, and customer retention initiatives.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations that highlight Portfolio+'s value propositions to customers and the broader market.
  • Represent Portfolio+ as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's values, mission, and vision internally and externally.
  • Identify and attend industry relevant events, conferences and opportunities for brand expansion.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, accountability and coaching.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure professional growth and achievement of sales targets.
  • Provide tools, resources, and ongoing training to empower the sales team to succeed.
  • Define, measure and optimize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Market Analysis & Collaboration
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales enablement tools and campaigns.
  • Act as a key liaison between sales, marketing, and revenue operations to ensure alignment.


What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or account management within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in enterprise complex accounts.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to sell effectively at the executive level.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, tailored to a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and inspire teams to achieve high performance.
  • Growth-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales, particularly with enterprise software solutions involving complex software and integrations.
  • Proven expertise in crafting and positioning value propositions for cloud-based solutions at a strategic level.
  • Ability to understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and influence long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills to track performance metrics, assess customer data, and optimize sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and data-driven sales tools to enhance performance and decision-making.
  • Understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting open banking, including compliance with laws like GDPR, PSD2, and others.
  • Capability to champion the needs of clients while aligning sales targets with the overall goals of the company.
  • Collaborative team player who fosters a positive, inclusive environment.
