Office of Children's Services (OCS) is
recruiting for a full-time Administrative Operations Manager 2 located in
Juneau or Anchorage, Alaska.

What You Will Be Doing
The Administrative Operations Manager 2 (AOM 2) is part of a dynamic team in the Office of Children's Services Director's Office. The AOM 2 is responsible for direction, oversight, and setting statewide policy, controls, and procedures for the OCS administrative, budgetary, and financial functions. The position is a part of the division's senior management team which makes recommendations on division goals and policies, regulations, short- and long-range planning, and efficient management of division resources. The AOM 2 provides ongoing professional financial and administrative support and consultative services to the OCS central and four regional offices. The incumbent coordinates responses to legislative inquiries and works with the division's legislative liaison to prepare fiscal notes. The AOM 2 sits on department-wide committees and workgroups related to the development of cross-divisional administrative and programmatic projects.

In addition to the Minimum Qualifications below, we are looking for a candidate with the following competencies:

Any combination of preparatory post-secondary education and/or progressively responsible professional level experience providing administrative support to a business or organization, business administration, public administration, finance, banking, accounting, industrial relations, marketing, human resource management, logistics and supply chain management, or a similar business field.
