Are you ready to lead the future of digital verification in the Pharmaceutical and Food logistics industry? We're looking for a visionary Director of Digital Operations to drive our technical team and project management at Cryopak.

The Director of Digital operations will oversee the daily operations, technical team, and project management within the cryopak digital verification

division. Responsible for supporting the existing product line, developing future products (R&D), and working closely with the Sales and Instrumentation departments to understand customer needs and market trends, the Director of Operations will also be accountable for managing profit and loss (P&L) by absorption of direct and indirect labor costs, as well as improving product development efficiency. This individual will be responsible for analyzing Real Time Temperature Monitoring and (geo) Tracking market trends in the Pharmaceutical and Food logistics industry in order to position our technology for growth and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities of this position include representing the company at Industry trade shows and meeting with customers.

  • Daily project management and prioritization of Hardware and Software Support, R&D projects
  • Establishment of technical documentation for all projects and management of project backlog
  • Collaboration with Sales and Instrumentation departments to understand customer needs and market direction
  • Development of a vision and product roadmap for future products, hardware, and software
  • Leadership and architecture of coding design
  • Primary liaison to upper management and Marketing for technical projects and product launches
  • Management of incoming technical support issues and assignment to appropriate individuals
  • Managing profit and loss (P&L) by absorption of direct and indirect labor costs
  • Developing and improving product development efficiency
  • Responsible for analyzing Real Time Temperature Monitoring and (geo) Tracking market trends in the Pharmaceutical and Food logistics industry in order to position our technology for growth and customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for identifying which trade shows to attend, representing the company at those events, and meeting with customers to foster relationships and explore business opportunities.
  • Research and integrate AI-driven innovations into product development, process optimization, and market analysis to enhance both short-term efficiencies and long-term strategic growth.
  • Leverage AI technologies to improve hardware and software solutions, automate workflows, and enhance decision-making in product development and customer engagement.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by your manager as needed.


Requirements:

Software Engineering or Computer Science degree with a deep understanding of Hardware and Web development.

7 years minimum, including 3 years in management.

Extensive background in electronics, with a strong acumen in both project management and the development of hardware and software solutions.

Proven experience in the development and management of electronic medical devices and instruments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

In-depth knowledge of Health Canada guidelines and regulations pertaining to medical devices, facilitating successful product development and market entry.

Experience in Research and Development (R&D), focusing on innovative solutions that meet customer needs and enhance product performance.

Fully Bilingual (French, English) in written and oral communication,

Advanced Hardware and Web knowledge

Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment,

Effective teambuilding and people management skills
