Job Description:

Trilliant is hiring a Senior Metering Specialist who will be responsible for all metering and broader communications customer inquiries, sales, and after sales support across several different functions, from metershop level services to customer projects. The position will play a lead role as the high-level metering and communication solution expert, critical to interfacing with different technologies and current and future customers to provide a seamless customer experience. The Senior Metering Specialist assists with continuous improvement activities and in the promotion and business development of Trilliant solutions as the metering and solutioning subject matter expert.

Materials and Equipments

ANSI Metering of all types, Trilliants solutions, Services, instruments, meters, meter test boards, and communications.

Position Responsibilities:

• Effectively support internal and external stakeholders as the senior metering specialist, act as the subject matter expert in all aspects including in sales and customer support roles.
• Support and manage metershop sales and service as the subject matter expert for ANSI metering devices.
• Assist with logistics and inventory provisioning and services related to customer orders, projects, and material movements as needed by the business.
• Assist with managing the business partner relationship for outsourced assembly of devices as a key stakeholder and partner of Trilliants supply chain.
• Recommend new equipment as needed and execute maintenance activities as required in the MeterShop.
• Follow procedures governed by Measurement Canada and the company.
• Provide and implement solutions with metering requests and communications working closely with internal stakeholders.
• Ongoing training & update technical procedures and best practices as per Measurement Canada and companys requirements and policies.
• Be the safety ambassador in compliance with Trilliant QMS policies and procedures, taking steps to ensure a safe and productive workshop environment.
• Other responsibilities as they become known or are required.

Position Requirements:

• Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience in Metering and communications solutioning
• Excellent logistics, warehousing, and supply chain knowledge
• Expert Knowledge of metering, devices, and communications utilized in advanced metering solutions, and other related equipment and accessories.
• Expert knowledge of metering concepts and supporting communication technologies.
• Knowledge of Advanced Metering solutions and devices and asset.

Education/Certification:

• Electrical engineer with a college diploma.
