Job Description
Health Facilities Group (HFG Architecture) is seeking a Federal Studio Leader to lead and manage the Federal healthcare architectural team, overseeing the design and execution of healthcare projects. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality healthcare facilities. Your expertise in healthcare design, project management, and team leadership will contribute to the continued growth and success of the studio.
Strategic Planning (20%):
1. Develop and execute a federal market expansion strategy to drive contract wins and revenue growth.
2. Establish and manage teaming agreements, mentor-protg relationships, and joint ventures to expand capabilities and secure larger contracts.
3. Participates in strategic planning for the studio, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement in serving federal clients.
Business Development (20%):
1. Lead capture management and competitive positioning to secure federal contracts.
2. Build and maintain relationships with senior contracting officials, large primes, and key federal agencies.
3. Oversee proposal development, pricing strategies, and pipeline execution to meet revenue targets.
4. Ensure alignment with high-spending federal agencies, including DoD, VA, and IHS.
Management (60%):
1. Oversee the teams executing the design, development, and execution of healthcare architectural projects for federal agencies, ensuring compliance with all federal regulations and client requirements.
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for federal clients, maintaining strong, collaborative relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
3. Ensure all projects adhere to federal regulations and standards specific to healthcare facilities, including safety and accessibility standards.
4. Develop and monitor project budgets and timelines, adjusting as necessary to meet client needs and contractual obligations.
5. Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of architectural design and documentation.
Job Requirements
1. Licensed Architect, preferably with NCARB certification.
2. Experience in healthcare architecture, with a specific focus on federal projects. Familiarity with DoD, IHS, and VA projects is highly desirable.
3. In-depth knowledge of federal regulations affecting healthcare facilities, including specific standards for DOD, IHS, and VA.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of managing complex architectural projects. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with federal clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges and make decisions that influence project outcomes.
7. Required to be physically present in the office as much as possible to facilitate team collaboration, oversight, and effective management of ongoing projects.
