Job Description
Kayne Anderson Rudnick (KAR) Investment Management a Registered Investment Advisor based in Los Angeles, is currently searching for an experienced Strategic Marketing Lead to serve as the driving force behind the firm's Wealth Advisory marketing strategies. In this pivotal role, the ideal candidate will shape and execute strategies that align with the firm's wealth advisory business development and client experience goals, helping the firm's Wealth Management division achieve measurable organic growth and client retention.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker interested in creating thoughtful marketing campaigns to help grow and nurture the firm's Wealth Management business (both with existing clients and prospective clients). The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the wealth management business and demonstrate expertise in traditional and digital marketing strategies, excel at building collaborative partnerships with the firm's Wealth Advisory team, and exhibit strong communication skills to facilitate effective execution of strategy.
This position will be based in our Los Angeles Office working a hybrid 3/2 schedule which is subject to change.

Ideal Qualifications
The starting salary range is $134,000.00 to $160,000.00.
The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan.

Job Responsibilities
- Strategy Development:
- Demonstrate a high level of strategic thinking, offering creative and effective solutions to drive business outcomes.
- Lead the creation of tailored strategies aligned with KAR's Wealth Management division to achieve organic growth goals and nurture existing client relationships.
- Lead the development of strong content that supports the strategy and business goals.
- Analyze challenges and opportunities of the Wealth Management division to develop innovative, results-driven approaches leading to measurable ROI.
- Execution:
- Develop and measure KPIs for all marketing campaigns to gauge their effectiveness and pivot if necessary.
- Work with the Managing Director to align on strategy and help to guide the marketing team in execution, creating actionable plans that prioritize ROI for clients.
- Relationship Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor by actively listening to business challenges and helping to guide toward actionable solutions.
- Facilitate meaningful discussions that lead to consensus and clarity, ensuring confidence in stakeholders in the strategic direction.
- Communication & Documentation:
- Clearly articulate strategic thinking across all organizational levels, simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences.
- Partner with the Assistant Director-Marketing Operations to ensure all initiatives are sequenced for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Ideal Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing roles, ideally with financial services organizations and/or specifically on Wealth Management teams.
- Proven ability to develop and implement traditional and digital marketing strategies that drive organic growth.
- Hands on leader that is willing to jump in to ensure good execution and excellent outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill strategic concepts into clear, actionable steps.
- Demonstrate high EQ, active listening, and the ability to build trust with internal clients and team members.
- Experience guiding teams in executing strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and maximizing ROI.
- Familiarity with organic growth strategies and client experience frameworks.
The starting salary range is $134,000.00 to $160,000.00.
