MAIN FUNCTION:
The Head of AI Workstations Line of Business is responsible for launching and driving the growth of the AI Workstations business, with full accountability for its P&L, strategy, and operations. This role integrates technical leadership, product management, and business development to establish a competitive presence in the AI hardware market. The ideal candidate will build and lead a high-performance team while ensuring alignment between technology innovation and business objectives.

The Head of AI Workstations Line of Business is responsible for launching and driving the growth of the AI Workstations business, with full accountability for its P&L, strategy, and operations. This role integrates technical leadership, product management, and business development to establish a competitive presence in the AI hardware market. The ideal candidate will build and lead a high-performance team while ensuring alignment between technology innovation and business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Advanced certifications or coursework in computer hardware development (workstations or servers) are a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in computer hardware development, including knowledge of industry standards and end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Minimum 3 years of expertise with CPU/GPU hardware design and server systems architecture.
- Proven experience in developing hardware for AI solutions and optimizing GPU/AI system application performance.
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading and mentoring teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
- Demonstrated success building a business from the ground up, with specific experience targeting the U.S. market.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, including cloud computing, servers, and workstations, with expertise in system architecture.
- Familiarity with GPU/AI technology platforms and their customization for business applications.
- High-level strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter, thriving in an ownership-driven culture.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
- Internal: Collaborate with executive leadership, product development and product management teams, sales and marketing, and operations to align business unit objectives with organizational goals. Engage with engineering, R&D, and technical support teams to ensure product excellence and market alignment. Colleagues are located across the globe.
- External: Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry partners to drive business growth and innovation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and execute a long-term business strategy and technology vision for the AI Workstations line of business.
- Assume full P&L responsibility, setting and achieving financial targets, including YoY growth and profitability.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying and integrating emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
Product Management:
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and design to launch and post-market optimization.
- Ensure product development aligns with customer needs and market demand, delivering high-quality and innovative solutions.
- Manage the product roadmap, balancing technical excellence with business objectives.
Business Development & Partnerships:
- Drive market expansion by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners to enhance market presence and competitive positioning.
- Lead initiatives to expand the customer base and establish the business as an industry leader in AI workstation solutions.
Team Building & Development:
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Mentor team members to build technical and leadership capabilities, ensuring a strong talent pipeline for future growth.
- Scale teams and systems to support rapid business expansion while maintaining operational efficiency.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Analyze market and business performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Adjust strategies and operations to ensure alignment with business goals and market conditions.
- Optimize the performance of GPU/AI systems and applications to meet customer and business requirements.
