This person must have experience with PM in the AMI integrations space.
I need someone on the business side not so much on the technical side of the implementation.
A seasoned PM to work in coordination with the VP of Engineering in support of an Advanced Metering infrastructure (AMI) implementation for a large water company. The Project Manager must be well versed with AMI, its terminology and understand how to steer integration efforts within the organization. Project involves owning and managing status reports, managing stakeholder expectations, managing and leading project meetings and working with external vendor. PM will play an integral role in updating plan of action to get the project completed, working across departments to ensure all integration needs and wants are included within the confines of the project and budgetary restrictions. Must be very well spoken, clear and concise and able to steer an initiative with very little handholding.
Responsibilities may include: Develop project plans and manage budgetary needs. Host project meetings consistently with team and managers. Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members. Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness are met Coordinate with vendor as needed. Understand Business Needs. Work well with Business leaders to understand objectives and ensure deliverables are clearly defined and met. Stakeholder Management
Skills Needed: Minimum of 8 years of PM experience with some experience with AMI integrations Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy. Leadership qualities, such as motivation techniques and conflict-management. Time management skills, especially familiarity with calendar management and goal setting. Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
