Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Operations, Immigration & Global Mobility Specialist, to support our Moloco global mobility & immigration program & policies. This role is essential in ensuring seamless operations for these critical programs. Your primary focus will be on scaling immigration and relocation initiatives, prioritizing an exceptional employee experience while balancing operational efficiency. Additionally, a portion of your time will be dedicated to general People Operations responsibilities to provide broader team support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Immigration & Global Mobility Support (60% of your time)
    • Triage & support employees and internal stakeholders with immigration and global mobility inquiries, ensuring clear communication and guidance while adhering to SLAs.
    • Support intake & management of global mobility processes partnering with key stakeholders - employees, managers, people partners, leadership as needed
    • Monitor, track & assist in the management of end-to-end immigration processes - immigration status, visa expirations, and work authorizations, ensuring legal counsel & Immigration Program are aligned on timely renewals and updates.
    • Partner with external immigration counsel and vendors to facilitate timely and compliant immigration processing for employees.
    • Update and enhance knowledge base / reference materials for internal team process documents and Employee facing processes and policies.
    • Document & drive process enhancements to streamline immigration / global mobility programs
    • Manage monthly / quarterly metrics, analyze for data insights, and create recommendations to improve immigration / global mobility programs.
    • Ensure immigration & global mobility invoices are within budget, received, approved, and paid on time
    • Own the I-9 re-verification process for foreign nationals by gathering document renewals and processing in Workday
    • Support employees with business visa resources and assistance to apply for their travel visa
  • People Operations Support (40% of your time)
    • Triage and support employees and internal stakeholders with questions to the People Operations Slack channel and email mailbox.
    • Direct requests to a self-service solution if possible and document knowledge base gaps for future self-service enhancements.
    • Provide backup support as needed for People Operations - onboarding, offboarding, data management
    • Provide support for People Ops projects as needed based on business needs

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in global mobility, immigration, or operations roles.
  • Excellent communication, written, verbal, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential data with discretion and care.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of immigration laws, visa categories, and work authorization requirements.
  • Familiarity with managing processes to enable technology - examples include: Workday, CultureAmp, Google Suite, etc.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, highly dynamic start-up.


Our Compensation And Benefits (for United States Residents Only)

In accordance with various state laws, the range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. We also offer a competitive benefits package. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay.

Base Pay Range:

$65-$72 USD
