Job Summary:
The Director of Sales will play a key role in leading the sales strategy for the newly renovated Residence Inn Lenox Park. This position will be responsible for driving the hotel's reintroduction to the market by maximizing revenue, increasing occupancy, and ensuring the hotel's offerings are effectively communicated to new and existing clients. The Director of Sales will oversee the sales team, build strong relationships with key clients, and develop innovative sales strategies to position the hotel as a top choice in the Atlanta market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales efforts in reintroducing the newly renovated Residence Inn Lenox Park to the market, ensuring strong visibility and growth in occupancy.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies that highlight the hotel's new offerings, design enhancements, and upgraded services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients in corporate, government, group, and leisure segments to increase business opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust strategies, ensuring the hotel stays competitive in the industry.
  • Oversee the preparation and management of the annual sales budget and forecast, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful advertising campaigns and promotional materials that highlight the renovations and rebranding of the hotel.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to raise the hotel's profile in the market.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the sales team in achieving individual and team sales goals, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Regularly analyze and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Work closely with hotel management and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
