Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or a related field, information technology or equivalent experience in ICS security
• Extensive knowledge of ICS security and best practices for securing industrial automation environments
• Familiarity with key ICS security frameworks, including:
  • NERC CIP, IEC 62443, and other relevant standards
• Strong expertise in IT network security, including:
  • Managed switches, VLANs, VPNs
  • Intrusion detection (Syslog-ng, etc.) and log analysis services
  • Cloud security platforms and remote access security best practices
• Experience with fieldbus protocols, industrial automation networks, and cybersecurity challenges in OT environments
• Proficiency in programming and system administration, including:
  • Linux, Docker, CODESYS
  • Security scripting and automation (C, JavaScript, Python)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical security expert for WAGO's sales team and customers, developing secure automation solutions
• Conduct ICS security assessments and recommend best practices for securing industrial networks and control systems
• Assist in network design, segmentation, and protection strategies, including VLAN configurations, VPN setups, and managed switch security
• Implement intrusion detection, logging, and monitoring solutions to enhance OT security and compliance
• Provide training and consultation on ICS security standards, frameworks, and emerging cybersecurity threats
• Develop technical documentation, security guidelines, and best practices to support WAGO's automation solutions
• Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats and industry trends to continually improve WAGO's security posture

Additional Responsibilities:

• Must be able to travel via airplane
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate an automobile for up to six hours at a time
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Travel estimate up to 50%. International travel and travel to corporate headquarters will also be required on a periodic basis to support sales efforts, provide technical training and collaborate with customers on solution implementation
