Data Scientist/Engineer

Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop data models and algorithms to drive insight from structured and unstructured data and predict future outcomes.
• Employ machine learning models to extract information, identify patterns, and summarize large amounts of information.
• Define and design data solutions from relational databases to graph databases.
• Develop data warehousing blueprints and evaluate hardware and software platforms.
• Perform streaming and batch data processing, ETL, data wrangling, data ingest, and data access.
• Leverage Agile design approaches to develop, manage, evaluate, and improve data management tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science/Engineering
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $91,600.00/Yr. - USD $153,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
