Relevant du Chef Comptabilit et Contrles, au sein du Groupe de Bannires au Dtail, l'Analyste Financier est charg de garantir que les activits comptables mensuelles sont effectues avec prcision et dans les dlais. Les tches incluent la prparation des tats financiers, la rvision des transactions du Grand Livre, les rapprochements, la production de diverses analyses et cdules. De plus, ce poste devra analyser les initiatives commerciales et soutenir l'quipe FP&A dans la prparation du budget annuel et des prvisions mensuelles pour certaines responsabilits du Groupe de Bannires au Dtail. Assure le respect des politiques et pratiques de comptabilit et de contrle de McKesson Canada. Travailler en collaboration avec le NAFSS.

Responsabilits spcifiques
  • Agir en tant que partenaire d'affaire en offrant des services financiers divers dpartements du Groupe.
  • Prparer et analyser les rapports et les tats financiers. Prparer les critures de journal rcurrentes mensuelles et fournir des explications sur les carts par rapport l'anne prcdente, aux prvisions et au budget en identifiant les dpassements de budget et en soulignant les problmes.
  • Effectuer des analyses qui apportent une valeur ajoute l'entreprise et permettent de prendre des dcisions commerciales stratgiques en temps opportun. Recommander des solutions ou des alternatives appropries lors du soutien la direction dans les analyses financires ad hoc.
  • Dvelopper et gnrer des rapports sur les indicateurs cls de performance pour mesurer la performance et le succs de toute initiative, et rendre compte des rsultats aux dirigeants avec des recommandations pour amliorer les rsultats.
  • Participer au dveloppement et l'analyse des initiatives commerciales, mais aussi la prparation du budget annuel et des prvisions mensuelles.
  • Maintenir des niveaux de communication appropris avec tous les niveaux de l'organisation, travers tous les dpartements et partenaires externes pour rsoudre les problmes en suspens, faciliter une relation de travail positive et optimiser les processus actuels. Travailler en troite collaboration avec certaines fonctions du Groupe de Bannires au Dtail de McKesson.


Qualifications
  • Baccalaurat en Finance ou en Comptabilit, possdant un titre comptable CPA, un atout
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'exprience en comptabilit et/ou en reporting financier
  • Bonnes connaissance/exprience du processus de clture de fin de mois, de l'analyse, du reporting et des rapprochements des comptes de bilan.
  • Solide formation analytique, l'aise avec les analyses financires complexes et la modlisation, souci du dtail.
  • Autonome et capacit prendre des initiatives. Capacit prioriser et grer plusieurs tches tout en respectant les dlais.
  • Comptences en communication efficaces avec des capacits d'influence.
  • Bilingue Franais et Anglais (crit et oral).
  • Matrise des logiciels MS Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, BPC/BHP, Epicor, etc.


Le.la titulaire de ce poste aura soutenir de faon quotidienne des clients internes et/ou externes l'extrieur du Qubec et/ou aux tats-Unis. Par consquent, ce poste requiert une matrise de l'anglais l'crit et l'oral. Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Accounting & Controls, in Retail Banner Group, the Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring that monthly accounting activities are done accurately and on time. Tasks include financial statement preparation, review of General Ledger transactions, reconciliations, and production of various analysis and schedules. In addition, this position will be expected to analyze business initiatives and support the FP&A team in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecast for some Retail Banner Group Accountability. Ensures adherence to McKesson Canada's accounting and Control policies and practices. Work closely with the NAFSS.

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Act as a Finance Business Partner offering finance services to various Retail Banner departments.
  • Prepare and analyze key reports and financial statements. Prepare monthly recurring journal entries and provide variances explanation against last year, forecast, and budget by identifying budget overspend, and highlight issues.
  • Perform analyses that bring value-add to the business and that allow making strategically sound business decisions in a timely manner. Recommend appropriate solutions or alternatives when supporting management in ad hoc financial analyses.
  • Develop and generate business reports on key business metrics to measure the performance and success of any key initiatives, report on the results to the Retail business leaders with recommendations for improved results.
  • Participate in developing and analyzing business initiatives, but also participate in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of communication with all levels of the organization, across all departments and external partners to resolve pending issues, facilitate a positive working relationship and optimize current processes. Work closely with some McKesson Retail Banner Group functions.


Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a CPA designation considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge/experience of close process, analytics, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical background, comfortable with complex financial analysis and modeling, detail oriented.
  • Autonomous and ability to take initiative. Also, proven ability to prioritize and multi-task while meeting various deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills with influencing abilities.
  • Bilingual French and English (written and oral).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, BPC/BHP, Epicor, etc.


The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.

$68,000 - $113,400
