Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for sporting goods products.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate product performance and durability.
- Create 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks and other CAD software.
- Manage the prototyping process, including testing and validation of designs.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are suitable for production.
- Incorporate feedback from testing into design revisions and improvements.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to optimize manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in bicycle engineering and sporting goods.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience post-graduate work.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD tools for 2D and 3D design.
- Experience in product development from concept to production.
- Demonstrated skills in prototyping, testing, and validation processes.
- Knowledge of bicycle engineering and design principles related to sporting goods.
