POSITION: Cost Control Manager (2 positions available)
WORKSITE: 3490 Piedmont Road, Atlanta, GA 30305
JOB DUTIES:
Establish standard operating procedures for the master budget and ensure uniformity amongst all cost reports within the organization. Work directly with Segment Managers, Project Managers, and Associate Project Managers to ensure all operational costs are accounted for and allocated appropriately. Generate reports such as, man-hour forecasts, project costs, and cash flow forecasts with information from Segment Managers, Project Managers and Associate Project Managers. Establish standard operating procedures for internal cost controls. Gather necessary approvals and signatures through direct correspondence. Assist with processing change orders for contracts with the CEO. Determine accurate project cost coding and project cash flow reports. Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management's review monthly to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget. Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work. Train management with appropriate applications of cost controls. Share operational work processes with other affiliates to establish uniformity across the business. Process monthly pay applications. Directly manage one PowerBi Analyst.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
5 years' experience working on DOT (Department of Transportation), or other transportation projects and two years' experience within the five-years with large civil infrastructure project (highways, structures, railways, airports) valued at least $75 million; Managing proposals, contracts and change orders; Management of cost accounting function; Analyzing monthly project budgeting for variances; Reviewing cost analysis projections; Completing monthly accruals; and in alternate delivery (Design Build, DBF, DBFOM).
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
10% domestic travel to Georgia/Eastern region of U.S. for meetings, trainings, and office locations of clients.
