Example of Duties
Under general direction of the Employment Services Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for all areas of recruiting and layoff process throughout the Municipality. Prepare and post vacancy announcements- receipt, evaluation, screening, and referral of qualified applicants for Municipal vacancies. Make employment offers and complete all pre-employment requirements. Notify applicants who are not successful, review and evaluate screening and testing devices; speak at public meetings and participate in job fairs and other recruitment events. Perform other related duties as assigned.

This is a full time, in office position that focuses on creating job vacancy announcements, screening applicants, making job offers, and processing onboarding paperwork for incoming employees.
Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / Preferences
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and six (6) year of human resources experience.
OR
Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline and four (4) years of human resources experience.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline and two (2) year of human resources experience.

Excellent customer service skills
Experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements
