Description:
EGS is seeking a Mech/Process/Chemical Systems Engineer who specializes in designing and analyzing complex industrial systems involving mechanical, chemical, and process engineering principles, with a strong focus on creating and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to detail the flow of materials, and instrumentation within a plant or process facility.

Typical responsibilities may include:
* Developing process flow diagrams (PFD's) as a foundation for P&ID creation
* Performing equipment sizing calculations
* Analyzing process dynamics and potential hazards
* Reviewing and approving vendor drawings and specifications
* Coordinating with other engineering disciplines (electrical, structural, civil)
* Supporting project execution through construction, commissioning, and start-up
Job Requirements
Skills and qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related and 5-10 years relevant experience.
* Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
* Proficiency in P&ID software and industry standards
* Experience with process simulation tools
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strongly prefer experience with Pipe-flo, GOTHIC, HTRI, or IPSEpro or similar software tools.
