Job Description
Job Title: Rad Tech
Job Specialty: Radiology CT/X-Ray (Computed Tomography)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour nights, including every other weekend and required on-call
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: CA Radiologic Technologist License
Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT), Fluoroscopy
Must-Have: Flexible candidate able to work varied 10-hour night shifts
Job Description:
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging using Siemens Edge 128, Siemens Definition 128, and Carestream equipment and portables.
- See approximately 110-130 patients per day in the CT unit.
- Float between CT and X-ray as required.
- Flexible start times between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with on-call duties for evenings or nights starting standby at 3:00 PM or 6:00 PM for 12 hours on unscheduled weekends.
- Document and chart using the Cerner system.
- Wear teal-colored scrubs as part of the dress code.
- Provide high-quality imaging services and patient care in an acute care setting.
- Meet the required orientation of 12 hours as part of the onboarding process.
- Provide two supervisory references (including one charge reference) for submission, one within the last 12 months and one within the last three years.
Note: Candidates should not have been employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any affiliated facility within the past year. Those employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
