The role youll contribute:
The Director of Finance has financial accountability, authority, and responsibility for an assigned area of AH Redmond. The Director fosters the integration of the organizations vision and values, and accomplishes the mission and strategic plan through an accountable work team. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Director collaborates with patients/customers, families, physicians, administration, and associates to meet customer needs and expectations in a patient focused and healing environment. The position will report to the VP/CFO of AH Redmond
The value youll bring to the team:
Analyze, produce, compile, and present information for the benefit of management and financial decision making.
Assesses, develops and implements financial policies and processes.
Responsible for assisting the CFO with organization and management of assigned departments, administration and program development.
Manages established programs and policies of the Southeast Region General Accounting Office.
Participates in monthly financial close.
Assists in the preparation and filing of the Medicare and Medicaid prior year cost reports annually.
Collaborates with Southeast Region General Accounting Office to ensure service standards and needs are met.
Provides active feedback and assists in the development of the Regional Accounting.
Develops, implements and assists managers/directors in utilizing systems and reports to ensure departments function within budgeted guidelines.
Performs delegated functions in compliance with hospital and departmental policies.
Manages the development of the annual operating budget
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:
Bachelors Degree
2-5 years of experience in financial activities/responsibilities
