Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production operations, and implementing innovative solutions for product assembly and tooling. This role is essential in enhancing productivity and product quality in the manufacturing of optical systems and components for defense aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to ensure production targets are met.
• Develop and implement assembly tooling and fixtures to enhance product assembly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to hardware and electronics.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new manufacturing projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a relevant industry.
• Familiarity with optical systems and imaging technology.
• Experience in defense aerospace manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of assembly tooling and hardware fabrication techniques.
• Proficient in electronics and wiring systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
