Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Job Specialty: Radiation Therapy
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (No weekends, no holidays)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Yes, as required by the state
Certifications: Certified Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T)
Must-Have: RTT certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology & RT certification from WA Department of Health
Job Description:
- Work with a single radiation therapy machine providing treatment to 5-8 patients per therapist.
- Handle a variety of cancer diagnoses including head and neck, breast, lung, prostate, and colon cancers.
- Follow scheduling requirements with no weekend or holiday work.
- No on-call or standby requirements.
- Wear any color solid scrubs as part of the dress code.
- Utilize EpicCare Inpatient - EMR for charting.
- Undergo a unit-specific orientation in Radiation Oncology.
- Maintain COVID vaccination as required for all staff.
Additional Notes:
- The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per assignment.
