Certification:
Possession of a current PMP (Project Management Professional) certification issued by Project Management Institute
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Typical Tasks
- Develops, reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding requirements, sources, and, limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
- Manages or oversees the implementation and integration of assigned projects from inception to user sign-off. Acts as liaison between users, designers, technical personnel, and vendors.
- Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for selection or assignment of project personnel
- Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
- Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
- Prepares status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required and prepares project reports for management, client, or others
- Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
- Attends planning and construction meetings
- Coordinates technical aspects of information technology and telecommunications projects
- Meets with users to determine needs
- Establishes performance criteria, ensuring that customer and Health Services requirements are being met.
- Works with requestor to define project scope and prepare project specifications. Conducts project meetings, and coordinates procurement, as appropriate.
