The Senior Manager, Due Diligence role will support the Property Compliance team in the due diligence process for transactions specifically focusing on the 3rd party vendor process as well as managing the site visit scheduling process. This role will also provide support with the document management process including the document management needs associated with transactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages the end-to-end due diligence process including data room set up, vendor management and site visit scheduling across multiple transaction types.
  • Manage the 3rd party vendor process from start to finish, building meaningful relationships with the vendors and identifying and implementing process efficiencies.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and manage 3rd party inspections.
  • Lead and manage direct reports and team members, providing guidance and training.
  • Review and analyze financial, legal, operational and compliance reports and documents.
  • Identify risks that could affect assets and transactions and present findings to senior management along with potential solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Identify areas for improving the document management processes for due diligence processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure due diligence process is aligned with company goals.
  • Work closely with Directors and VPs to ensure vendor management, due diligence and scheduling functions are being properly executed.
  • Provide support during post-close as needed.
  • Prepare reporting as necessary summarizing findings, potential risks and recommended actions.
  • Track deadlines and manage tight timelines to ensure tasks and projects are completed on schedule.
  • Serve as point of contact for external customers and clients throughout the diligence process.
  • Assist with confirming compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and legal standards.
  • Respond to requests for information and ensure timely access to documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA or BS in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management preferred
  • 5-7+ years of experience in real estate industry
  • Excellent communication skills and sense of urgency.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in an organized, detailed manner.
  • Leadership or mentorship experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial modeling tools.
