Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager
Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Behavioral Health - Psychiatric Unit
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per Shift: 8 hours (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Inpatient Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Hospital.
License: Active AZ License
Certifications: BLS, CPI (can obtain CPI during orientation).
Must-Have:
Proficient in EPIC EMR system.
Experience working as a house supervisor in a similar sized facility (250 census).
BSN not required.
Description:
This position requires managing the inpatient behavioral health unit.
Patients are primarily voluntary and experiencing mental illness.
There is no aggressive behavior reported.
Nurses maintain a ratio of 1:8 and technicians 1:6.
Every other weekend or one weekend per month is preferred.
Two out of three holiday workdays are required.
The medication dispensing system includes Omnicell and other automated solutions.
Staff are required to wear navy blue scrubs.
The orientation includes one day of classroom, one day of clinical education, and one day on the floor.
