Bright Pattern is looking for our Pleasanton, CA office:Vice President of Sales.We are in search of a dynamic senior leader to join us at Bright Pattern in this key Sales department position, reporting directly to our CEO. You will be responsible for driving revenue by managing our sales team, recruiting new partners who have large ecosystems of customers and a significant Contact go to market capability, as well as recruiting new employees. You must demonstrate a combination of skills that include sales, sales engineering and professional services. Your number one criteria for success will be measured in closed deals. This role requires a deep understanding of our solution, and the ability to effectively communicate the customer benefits as to how our product addresses their specific requirements.
The VP of Sales position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with a large pipeline of business players and spearhead revenue growth initiatives for a company that has been a pioneer in contact center software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and carry out a detailed strategic plan for driving revenue and bookings
- Create and drive revenue, achieve revenue targets, meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Manage the sales of Bright Patterns solutions as well as build preference for it within partners sales teams
- Identify and recruit key partners, manage the partner ecosystem
- Develop engagement models
- Generate business opportunities through professional networking
- Self-generate leads from personal connections and referral partners
- Close customer opportunities, manage forecasts and pipelines
- Maintain partner and opportunity forecasting within our internal forecasting system (SFDC)
- Research the market and competitors
- Train, mentor and motivate the sales team
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective promotional materials
Qualifications and Key Skills:
- 5+ years of call center software sales experience
- 5+ years of SaaS sales experience
- Knowledge of call center software, SaaS, CRM, service management
- Proven trusted relationship builder with a track record of delivering exceptional partner experience
- Knowledge of key CCaaS partners, ability to quickly engage and establish revenue-yielding relationships
- Demonstrated success driving revenue in a start-up environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing strategic initiatives that drive growth and profitability
