Our Charlotte, NC team specializes in construction materials testing (CMT) and Special Inspections for projects including airports, transportation infrastructure, power generation and transmission, landfill construction, and other industrial and commercial development projects.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager to lead our team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves managing all aspects of construction materials testing projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency while fostering client relationships and mentoring a team of professionals.

Your Impact
Project Management: Oversee CMT and SI projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians to support project success.
Client Relations: Act as the primary liaison for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring project needs are met.
Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce strict safety standards in all testing and field operations.
Resource Allocation: Manage staffing, equipment, and materials to optimize efficiency and project delivery.
Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with DOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and WSP USA quality standards.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction materials testing, special inspections, and ASTM test methods.
Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license required;
Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Excellent communication and client management skills.
Licenses: Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history.
