- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
- Take and review digital X-rays as needed
- Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
- Assist in diagnosing and treating periodontal disease
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Stay current on the latest dental hygiene techniques and industry advancements
- Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients of all ages
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Dental Hygiene license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to educate and motivate patients regarding their oral health
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Experience with Dentrix is a plus, but not required

Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
