Your Role

The Cloud Networking team is responsible for architecting, implementing and managing the cloud networking infrastructure. The Cloud Engineer, Consultant will report to the Manager, Developer Experience. In this role you will be responsible to implement the best practices of Cloud Networking as well as manage the cloud networking infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:
  • Design and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available network solutions in multi-cloud (Azure, GCP, and AWS); analyze related technology requirements.
  • Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups.
  • Implement and maintain VPNs, ExpressRoute, and other connectivity solutions.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support application deployment and integration.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Automate network tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure networking features and technologies.


Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in wide array of cloud networks
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Azure Cloud Networking
  • Experience working in DevOps environments; knowledge of GitOps concepts
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience programming/scripting (e.g Python) and infrastructure automation using Ansible
  • Strong knowledge of Azure networking services and architecture.
  • Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with network security, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) Strongly Preferred
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud networking strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools strongly preferred.

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
