Responsibilities
Role Summary:
The Manager, Capital Markets will be responsible for managing the company's daily funding and capital markets activities, including commercial paper issuance, bond issuance, investment management, and financial risk management. This role involves analyzing and executing strategies to optimize the company's funding costs while ensuring adequate liquidity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debt Issuance: Manage the issuance of debt instruments, including commercial paper, bonds, letters of credit, and other financing vehicles. Manage intercompany financing initiatives.
- Investment Management: Oversee the company's investment portfolio, ensuring optimal returns while managing risk.
- Financial Risk Management: Execute foreign exchange hedges. Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to foreign exchange, interest rates, commodities, and counterparties.
- Capital Markets Analysis: Analyze strategies to optimize the company's capital structure, cost of capital, and capital allocation priorities. Execute opportunistic share repurchases (as needed).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, rating agencies, and investors.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit the company's quarterly bank covenant compliance reporting. Prepare and present regular reports on capital market activities, performance metrics, and financial risks.
- Special Projects: Work closely with the Treasurer on ad-hoc projects and presentations related to treasury initiatives.

Qualifications
The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or related field, with a focus on capital markets.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles (e.g., capital structure, capital allocation, WACC), capital markets, and financial instruments
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to function as a positive change agent, to take charge, and to influence others
- Certifications: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or similar certification is a plus
