In this critical role, you will manage complex case files, conduct in-depth legal research, and prepare essential documentation, relieving our attorneys of routine tasks. Responsibilities
Caseload Management: Take on detailed legal tasks to ease the workload of our attorneys by preparing cases for trials, hearings, and meetings.
Document Excellence: Draft, review, and edit legal documents, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
Expert Legal Research: Perform comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and produce insightful analyses.
Client Relations: Serve as a key contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and regular updates on case progress.
Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior paralegals, contributing to the overall development and improvement of our legal team.
Communicate effectively with attorneys and paralegals to ensure tasks are completed accurately in a timely manner
Draft various legal documents to support attorneys, such as pleadings, discovery requests and answers, memoranda, and contracts
Oversee our team of paralegals and assist with assigning projects, organizing and prioritizing tasks, caseload, and workflow, and advise on conflict resolution, as needed
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a paralegal, with extensive exposure to complex legal tasks in a fast-paced law firm environment.
Associate or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
Certification from an accredited paralegal program is highly desirable.
Proficiency with legal research tools, case management software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills paired with outstanding organizational abilities.
