Justice Center - Vulnerable Persons Central Register (VPCR)
The Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs is a New York State agency which was created in June, 2013 by the "Protection of People with Special Needs Act". The Justice Center provides oversight for facilities across the state responsible for the care of individuals with special needs. The Vulnerable Persons Central Registry (VPCR) is a case management system which was developed for the Justice Center using Siebel CRM technology to track intake of
incidents and allegations of abuse and neglect as well as the investigations, prosecution, adjudication, and oversight and monitoring resulting from these incidents. The consultant will work with other VPCR staff to maintain, enhance and support the VPCR to assure that this important 24/7 application will meet the needs of Justice Center staff.
Day to Day Tasks:
The candidate of this position will be responsible for Oracle Siebel CRM Software Administration related to the Vulnerable Persons Central Register (VPCR), which is a mission critical/ 24/x7, Severity 1 application that is essential to the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs ability to support and maintain solutions mandated by NY State legislation with regards to reports of abuse and neglect of vulnerable populations.
Day to day includes:
Debug and Configure Siebel Public Sector Applications, Siebel Enterprise Servers, Siebel Gateway Server, and Siebel Web Server
Install Siebel Tools, CFG file settings, and ODBC Settings
Install Hot fixes and Patches
Perform Daily health checks which includes regularly checking status of server components, jobs, and system resources
Use Siebel Tools to Configure VPCR application per user requirements from Justice Center.
Use query tools such as SQL Developer to develop data queries to update data in VPCR.
Unit test changes developed for VPCR application.
Correct defects detected in Testing Stage of release cycle.
Troubleshoot ITSM tickets for VPCR application
Document repository development in a functional design format.
Create test scripts within Siebel automation and testing tool for testing repository development on new releases.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Software Architect - Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
Expert - 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 Months experience with Siebel System Architecture, Siebel Configuration Process and Tools.
- 84 Months experience with Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM) architecture, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Webservices.
- 84 Months workflow development experience in Siebel CRM Public Sector 8.x or higher.
- 84 Months experience in Siebel web templates, JavaScript, jQuery and/or .net.
- 12 Months experience with IP 2017 or higher architecture, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Siebel Workspace, Siebel Web Tools, Siebel Cloud migration.
- 84 Months experience troubleshooting/resolving Siebel CRM configured application issues.
