VIZIO's Technology - Software and Services team is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their growing team. A successful candidate will contribute domain expertise and make high-impact individual contributions related to UI app development and optimization. This position will not have direct reports and is an Individual contributor. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative team here at Vizio and to accomplish this, we are in office 5 days a week in the office.

About You
- MUST HAVE:
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required.
- 10+ years of experience with software development.
- Proven experience in designing complex software architectures.
- PREFERRED/NICE TO HAVE:
- You care for attention to detail and a polished user experience that will delight users.
- You are a great written and verbal communicator: you're able to effectively communicate abstract ideas, bridge gaps in understanding between teams, and communicate to create a shared vision.
- You are quick to understand the history and strengths of existing systems; slow to introduce "yet-another-solution."
- 5+ years Consumer Electronics engineering experience.
- Experience in embedded environments.
- Knowledge of embedded UI.
