Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Specialty: Technologist
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: AM, 8 Hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 08:00 - 18:30)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Experience: Large hospital experience preferred, experience with specified equipment, and operating room experience
License: Iowa (can be obtained quickly)
Certifications: ARRT (R); BLS
Must-Have:
- Experience in a large hospital setting
- Operating room experience
- Familiarity with specific radiology equipment
Job Description:
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating and maintaining radiology equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all equipment is used correctly.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Support and assist with patient management during radiologic procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic imaging processes.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
- Stay updated with radiologic best practices and protocols.
- Display excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
