Description:
This position is responsible for assisting with the expansion of the LMS (SABA) platform further in the Yamaha NA region and taking it Global as a part of Marine's overall initiatives. It is responsible for supporting all efforts with both internal and AMS related resources. With the assistance of Vendor Management, the position would be required to provide assistance in managing the AMS relationship with the chosen vendor. The position will assist and support the creation of Training Center of Excellence for Application team. The specialist will be expected to communicate across broad lines from executives to LMS professionals within Yamaha and its global entities.

What you'll be doing:
- Support and champion further expansion and deployment of Yamaha LMS platform to other affiliates both domestic and global 40%
- Support all activities (upgrades, changes, incidents) and staff (both employees and AMS) associated with ongoing platform/system support of current LMS 25%
- Assist in maintaining AMS vendor relationship and performance relative to LMS platform 10%
- Support and participate in LMS COE for Yamaha to gain broader view of training priorities and needs from businesses 10%
- Review ongoing changes in learning technologies and provide guidance of suggested roadmap for platform 10%
- Performs other duties as required.
What you need to be successful:
- Minimum 10 years of LMS system related experience
- Minimum 5-7 years leading LMS support efforts
- Large scale project management experience
- Global implementation experience - preferred
- SABA/Cornerstone knowledge/experience - preferred
- Business, Information Systems, or IT degree - preferred
