Location: Erlanger, KY
Salary: $120,000 - $125,000 + Bonus

A leading manufacturing company in Northern Kentucky is seeking a hands-on, reserved yet firm Operations Manager to oversee manufacturing operations in a metal fabrication environment. The ideal candidate has experience in leading teams in a 150+ employee plant, understands inventory control, and thrives in a production-driven, on-the-floor leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor production supervisors, mechanics, and operations staff to drive efficiency, quality, and safety.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and reduce downtime.
Oversee and optimize inventory control processes to align with production needs.
Manage preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability.
Develop training roadmaps for staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with senior leadership to review P&L, control costs, and drive profitability.
Ensure safety, compliance, and best practices are followed across the facility.
Qualifications:
5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in metal fabrication or a similar industry.
Experience managing a team in a 150+ employee production facility.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and production scheduling.
Proven ability to drive efficiency improvements and implement lean manufacturing strategies.
Experience overseeing capital projects and equipment upgrades.
Reserved yet firm leadership style, able to drive change while maintaining strong team relationships.
