Description:
Converge Resources is actively seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with an industry-leading OEM specializing in advanced engineering solutions for industrial and commercial application (specialty reinforcement systems for unbonded & bonded post-tensioning applications). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine design and proven expertise in 3D modeling using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

- Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline (mechanical or electromechanical).
- Minimum 5 + years' experience specific to Machine Design.
- Must be experienced with Solidworks and AutoCad.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office), Excel, Etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.
- Be a motivated team player, with the ability to take on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the company

- Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design, performance specifications, or environmental regulations.
- Develop or test models of alternate designs or processing methods to assess feasibility, sustainability, operating condition effects, potential new applications, or necessity of modification.
- Develop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, fabrication, procurement, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs.
- Estimate costs or submit bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects, communication with overseas manufacturing vendors.
- Design test control apparatus or equipment or develop procedures for testing products.
- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, or repair to ensure that machines or equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
- Write performance requirements for product development or engineering projects.
- Apply engineering principles or practices to emerging fields, such as robotics, waste management, or operational innovative engineering.
- Provide technical customer service.
- Calculate energy losses for buildings, using equipment such as computers, combustion analyzers, or pressure gauges.
- Design integrated mechanical or alternative systems, such as mechanical cooling systems with natural ventilation systems, to improve energy efficiency.
- Select or install combined heat units, power units, cogeneration equipment, or trigeneration equipment that reduces energy use or pollution as applicable.
