Minimum Requirements

Education/Licensure/Skill/Expertise/Certifications

Knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, including scripting (JavaScript

and Glide), workflows, and integrations.

Knowledge and expert understanding of platform application models (i.e. click-to-configure, templates, data definition), specifically for

ServiceNow.

Required Industry certifications for ServiceNow: ServiceNow Certified

System Administrator

Preferred industry certifications for ServiceNow: ServiceNow Certified

Application Developer and ITL v4.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,

Engineering or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

A minimum of 4 years of high-tech industry, product engineering

and/or IT work experience

Position General Summary:

The Product Developer designs, builds and supports learning systems application development and 3rd party product integrations. The Product Developer is required to provide weekly status reports to their supervisor in the Information Technology (IT) department.

Essential Position Functions:
  • Develop, test, document, and implement high quality learning system applications on time that perform according to specifications and requirements documents
  • Analyze performance of programs and takes action to correct deficiencies
  • Develop and adhere to development standards that allow for the maintainability of code in a manner that supports team development
  • Participate in the modification of software applications or architecture to resolve issues and plan for future growth
  • Participate in code reviews and meetings as necessary
  • Provide a minimum of weekly status report updates for current projects
  • Develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced
  • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others
